Maury has done it again!! Our speaker this week is none other than Solicitor Duffy Stone. Stone became the 14th Circuit Solicitor in 2006, after nearly two decades split between private practice and his work as a prosecutor in South Carolina’s 14th and 5th judicial circuits.
He was appointed by Gov. Mark Sanford to fill the unexpired term of Randolph Murdaugh III and was subsequently reelected four times, most recently in 2020. A native of South Carolina, Stone is a graduate of Wofford College and the University of South Carolina School of Law.
If you have a prospective member in mind, this would be an excellent meeting for them to attend. Please be sure to introduce yourself to Solicitor Stone and welcome him to our club.
