Bulletin 7/27/25
FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greeting to all Sunset Rotarians and Friends. We are officially "off and running" in the new Rotary year and look forward to more fellowship, service, and growth in the new year.

In an inspirational note from RI President Francesco Arezzo he elaborated on the 2025-2026 Rotary goal of "Unite for Good". His remarks were not political but stressed relationship building as we work for service and meeting global challenges. He states that "Transition" doesn't start with strategy, but instead with character and the way we treat one another.

How we listen to each other, support and serve our communities is how "Good" is achieved.

After that heavy thought, here is what's happening on the local front:
  • T-shirts for "Re Thread" collection 7/28 and 8/11 in support of survivors from human trafficking. Be sure and go through your T-shirts and donate at our next meetings.
  • If you don't have your Mini-golf envelope, pick it up 7/28 or give me a call (please)
  • Discussion on Memory Matters Walk scheduled for Saturday Sept 13th
  • Invite spouses for this week's program on Identity theft and Scams
  • Feed me some names to contact for a 9/25 meeting--Low key membership drive.
Health Hints:
  • What is your daily need for water?  9 cups for women and 13 for men---Do other fluids count?   "Maybe"
  • Focus on You--Do at least one thing a day solely for you. Watching mindless TV, going for a drive, sitting in a quiet room, choose what makes you happy. But don't go overboard!
Thanks for all you do as a Rotarian and a Friend---See you Monday 7/28 at 6:00.
  Speaker 7/28/25
