It is time to start thinking about this year’s Mini Golf, our only major fund raiser. The first meeting of this committee will be in late May. If you are willing to serve on this committee along with myself and several other rotarians who have already committed, please let me know. We need the help.
A big thank you to Dot Jager our assistant District Governor for the Presentations to a number of our members last week. Dot’s three year term as AG will be coming to end on June 30 but I understand she will be remaining active in the District.

Chip is originally from Baton Rouge, La. He is married to Leigh Edrington has a Daughter Lindsay and 2 Grand kids that reside in Japan.
All American - Collegiate Golf 2 years at LSU New Orleans, 3 yrs. at Georgia Southern.
Lived on Hilton Head Island since 1978.
Current: Director of Instruction C.C. of Hilton Head since Feb. 2020.
Previous Experience:
Thirty years with Palmetto Dunes Resort – (Greenwood Development) Started as Assistant, became involved with Golf Digest Schools, Head Professional, to Director of Golf to Director of Resort Sales & Promotions and was part of the Acquisitions Team for South-East Region.
During this time, involved with 5 new course developments. Enhanced the Teaching Program with the likes of Bert Yancy, Doug Weaver, and Marlene Floyd LPGA “For Women Only Golf School”. Signed Paul Hahn Jr. (World’s Greatest Trick Shot Specialist)
CCHH - Head Professional 2009 – 2013 Palmetto Hall (Heritage Golf Group) General Manager/Head Professional 3 yrs.

Served on the Council of Trustees for the HHI Celebrity Golf Tournament. Benefitted Children’s Charities in Beaufort Co. VP.

Worked with Presidential Protection Division from 1993- 1999 each January…with a sitting President attending Renaissance Weekend on Hilton Head Island. Great Golf Experience!
