You should remember Dick Storm from when he presented a year or two ago. Dick has tremendous knowledge and experience in power generation which will become a major issue in the next few years as we transition from fossil fuels to alternative sources.
According to Dick, “Perhaps most significant and useful reference is that I was on a panel last week at PowerGen International and sitting between two other senior engineers to answer questions from the audience. The panel was entitled, "“Legacy perspective from over 100 years of fossil plant experience.” Each of us on the panel had over 50 years experience in power generation and we were selected from a committee of peers. I was quite honored to have been selected.”
If you have a prospective member in mind, this would be an excellent meeting for them to attend. Please be sure to introduce yourself to Dick and welcome him to our club.
