Sunset Rotary has organized a charity mini golf tournament for the last two years. This years tournament was held at Pirates Island Adventure Golf in Hilton Head and was an outstanding success raising over $17,000 for local charitable organizations. Funds raised by the event will be donated to:
The Children’s Center’s multicultural, bilingual early childhood education program. Their goal is to provide a learning environment that enhances the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, linguistic and creative development of each child.
The Association began in 2001 when it was recognized that the firefighters of the Town of Hilton Head Island needed a legitimate vehicle to raise and donate money, equipment and in-kind services to local charities and to promote the involvement and perception of the firefighters within the community.Since inception, the association has granted over $600,000.00 in cash donations or life safety equipment.
The primary mission of Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) is to serve the health and wellness needs of the medically underserved population who live or work on Hilton Head and Daufuskie Islands. The clinic is the only free and charitable medical clinic offering dental and mental healthcare south of the Broad River. VIM provides 30,000 medical visits and 6,000 dental visits annually that are equivalent to $13 million in healthcare.
Hilton Head High and Middle School’s “Circle for Success”
Circles 4 Success’ purpose is to provide resources & services for students, teachers & families of students within our local school district. These services can include, but are not limited to items such as school wear, clothing items, toiletries, school supplies, gift cards, transportation, furnishings, instruments, athletic equipment, advocacy, etc. These items are provided based on need and in conjunction with the school that the student attends.
