CART started in 1995 with Rotarians voluntarily emptying their pockets and purses of change at weekly meetings. One hundred percent of funds received by CART go to Alzheimer's disease research. As of May 2019, the CART Fund has awarded $8.2 million dollars in 50 grants to recognized US research institutions. The Fund is governed by a Board of Trustees composed of representatives from the Rotary districts that support the program. By participating in our Cruise for CART not only will you have an amazing and memorable vacation experience, you are also helping cure Alzheimer's disease by donating to "cutting edge" research grants to outstanding and dedicated doctors and scientists. 

 

One of the nights at sea, we will have a party for those participating in the fundraiser. Each cabin will receive a $100 on-board credit. This cruise is open to all Rotarians,  their 
family and their non-Rotarian friends. We look forward to having you join us. This fundraising event is arranged by Rotary District 7770. Participants' clubs/districts will be 
credited with donations raised.
